The easiest way to clean a blender- With Video!

Tips, Tricks, and Hacks

These are my opinions. I might also make a penny or two from some links. Full affiliate disclosure and disclaimers can be found here.

Ah, yes, the blender. My best friend! The morning joy machine! My baby girl who will cut you. All those nice things. But how do you clean a blender? What is the easiest way? Lemme tell you.

I’m betting you know about the ‘add a cup of hot water and squirt of dish soap and then run the blender on high’ trick. If you don’t I’ll break it down.

  1. Rinse the blender out
  2. Add a cup of hot water
  3. Add a squirt of dish soap
  4. Run the blender with the soap and water on high up to one minute to get ti squeaky clean.

Simple, right? Of course! But you see… I have one more little tip for you to make it EVEN EASIER!

The EASIEST way to clean a blender

This tip comes in in step one of the process listed above. Listen closely… I want you to turn the blender container UPSIDE DOWN and squirt the water from the sink squirty thingy UP into it. Honestly, this is my favorite way to rinse everything. It works so much better than pouring water in, swishing it around, and dumping it out.

Don’t believe me? Check out my super sweet video that will totally make you want to be my friend.
